  • Match 1 square of each fabric right sides together.
  • Sew 2 parallel 1/4 inch seams.
  • Cut half way (2 inches) between seams; press seams to darker fabric.
  • Place two patch units rights sides together, opposite fabrics matching together, and snugging previously sewn seams.
  • Sew 2 parallel 1/4 inch seams crossing previously sewn seams.
  • Cut half way (2 inches) between seams; press seams to one side.
  • Makes 2 four patch units per fabric pair.
Unit A - fabric 1 & 3, make 2
Unit B - fabric 2 & 3, make 2
Unit C - fabric 1 & 4, make 2
Unit D - fabric 2 & 4, make 2
